Move On.Org and these “Grass Roots Organizations” are holding Rallies in all fifty states.
In Wisconsin and around our country, the American Dream is under fierce attack. Instead of creating jobs, Republicans are giving tax breaks to corporations and the very rich—and then cutting funding for education, police, emergency response, and vital human services.
On Saturday, February 26, at noon local time, we are organizing rallies in front of every statehouse and in every major city to stand in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin. We demand an end to the attacks on worker’s rights and public services across the country. We demand investment, to create decent jobs for the millions of people who desperately want to work. And we demand that the rich and powerful pay their fair share.
St Louis T.E.A. Party responds
At this time we are planning a counter rally on the Capital Steps in Jefferson City. We need to meet about 10:30am to stake our ground. The moveon.org rally is scheduled to start @ noon. Bring signs, banners, and bottled water/snacks. I have been in contact with people from the St Louis Tea party and several groups who will be bringing numbers. We have to draw the line and stand in the way of intimidation by a very small minority. This is our state.
Details of any speakers etc are still forthcoming. We will have a couple bullhorns. I think we should assume that they will be successful in organizing their rally. Although their web site, according to somebody who has looked at it (I just got home) says nothing is organized in Missouri as of yet. But they still have two days and the word is still circulating through those circles. So all plans for Saturday are tentatively on unless we find out otherwise.
With RTW talk in Missouri, the Union presence in the capital halls has been very loud and noticeable. We should expect to see escalation. I believe Saturday will be a mobilizing day for them, plus the commies and others who are openly demonstrating in Madison Wi, and now moving to Ohio.

In a bid to inform voters of their Constitutional Rights, and push to get out the vote on November 2, 2010, the Saint Louis Tea Party Coalition is set to host the St. Louis Tea Party Homecoming this Saturday, September 25, 2010.
To kick-off the Homecoming, STLTPC will be unveiling their newest Initiative; Tea Party Treaty. The Tea Party Treaty is a document formed as a contract between the citizens and their Representatives, restoring accountability.
The event will begin at 2 pm with food, refreshments, games, and information. Homecoming is open to the public, and is a family-friendly event. It will be held at the STLTPC Victory Center Headquarters, 4512 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis.
With the continued and growing interest in the Tea Party Movement, key figures of the St. Louis Tea Party Coalition will be on hand to welcome and further educate citizens in attendance.
